What to Expect in a Session
In our 40-minute session, we’ll start by chatting about how you’re feeling and what’s going on in your life, to the degree you want to share – any stresses, challenges, or other relevant thoughts. This helps me better understand where you’re at and allows me to tailor the session to your needs. If we haven’t yet settled on a meditation practice, we’ll talk through some options and choose one that fits for you. Then we’ll dive into the meditation itself—whether that’s one longer sit or two shorter ones, depending on where you’re at with your practice. Afterward, we’ll reflect on how it went—any thoughts, emotions, challenges, or questions that came up during the sit. I’m always open to whatever arises, as meditation can be unpredictable. I’m here to hold space for you with care and compassion, creating a safe and non-judgmental environment where you can be yourself and I can support you exactly where you are.
In the 25-minute session, designed for those who feel they need less guidance or discussion, we’ll focus on a 20-minute meditation sit. Alternatively, we can do two shorter sits with a brief break in between. I understand that everyone’s needs are unique, so I’m always open to adjusting the session to best suit you.

My hope is that, by the end of the session, you feel more at peace, more grounded, and like you’ve made progress on your meditation path. That being said, it’s important to note that we will not always feel better after a meditation. Even after a “successful” sit, the peace you’re seeking may not always be immediate, and that’s okay. Yet you’ve still put in the work, and taken another step on your path. Reaping the benefits of meditation can take time. You might not notice the benefits right away during meditation, but rather afterward, in your everyday life. For instance, you may find that you no longer react the same way to situations that would typically frustrate you. Since everyone is dealing with their own unique set of states and challenges, everyone’s rate of progress is different.
As you continue on your journey, it’s highly likely that dedicating yourself to a daily meditation practice will become easier as you begin to witness the transformation unfolding within you. For many, meditation eventually becomes the most cherished part of the day.
As your meditation coach, I’m here to guide you through the challenges, offer support when motivation wanes, and be a kindred spirit along the way. It would be my honor to journey with you toward the more peaceful, joyful, clear-minded, and authentic version of yourself that lies within.
